Traditional machining
The traditional machining department keeps the art of precision mechanics alive through the use of parallel lathes and manual milling machines.
This area plays a key role in the production of one-off pieces, prototypes and small series where the operator’s flexibility and experience are crucial to the final result.
Parallel lathes, operated by highly skilled operators, allow external and internal turning operations to be carried out with high precision. The presence of specific accessories such as steady rests, tailstocks and self-centering spindles of various sizes allows parts with complex geometries to be machined while maintaining tight tolerances.
Manual milling machines, equipped with rotary tables and dividers, enable the machining of complex geometric features such as slots, grooves and irregular profiles. The operators’ ability to interpret the technical drawing and translate it into optimal machining sequences is an irreplaceable skill asset.
The department is distinguished by its ability to make changes and adjustments in real time, a feature that is particularly valued when making prototypes or modifying existing components. The presence of calibrated measuring instrumentation enables dimensional control during all stages of processing.
