Excellence in precision machining
Streas’ CNC division represents excellence in precision machining, thanks to a state-of-the-art machine park that combines versatility and accuracy. The department is equipped with state-of-the-art multi-axis machining centers, CNC lathes and vertical milling machines that ensure complex machining with tight tolerances.
The machining centers are equipped with state-of-the-art numerical control systems that allow both direct on-board programming and integration with advanced CAM software. This dual mode of operation makes it possible to optimize setup times and ensures maximum production flexibility, effectively adapting to both production batches and prototype or one-off part realizations.
The presence of multi-axis CNC lathes makes it possible to manufacture complex cylindrical components in a single setup, significantly reducing machining times and ensuring high geometric accuracies. Vertical milling machines, equipped with rotary tables and automatic tool change systems, allow machining on multiple faces of the part with a single setup.
The department is distinguished by its ability to machine a wide range of materials, from stainless steel to aluminum alloys, from technopolymers to exotic materials. Machining accuracy is ensured by in-process measurement systems and rigorous quality control that verifies critical dimensions during all stages of production.
Integration between CAD/CAM systems and CNC machines makes it possible to optimize tool paths, reducing cycle times and ensuring repeatability of the production process. Programs are developed by skilled technicians using advanced simulation software to preemptively check for collisions and optimize cutting parameters.
Production management is supported by a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) that monitors machining progress, cycle times and machine efficiency in real time, enabling accurate planning and adherence to delivery schedules.
